Synopsis "The La Croix Affair"
The quiet Victorian town of South Krimson was turned on it's head during the summer of 1897. While celebrating the wedded bliss of the town's richest family, the La Croix's, scandals were on the horizon. Questions of inheritance for the La Croix family fortune were making headlines. Activity of the Krimson Mafia was picking up speed. The mayoral reelection race was in desperate need of funds. And to make matters worse, the most dangerous woman in the state, the Black Veil herself, Vanessa Vale, has just been released back into her hometown of South Krimson after serving a ten-year prison sentence for a double murder. It is all the little town can do to keep itself together when news of another untimely double murder shakes them to their core. The police are searching for suspects, scapegoats, and anything else they can get their hands on, no matter the cost. But as the investigation takes its toll on the deeply troubled La Croix family, it's unclear whether or not the true killer will ever be caught and put to justice. One thing is for certain though, the town will never be the same when summer is over. Will the La Croix's be strong enough to survive the heat striking South Krimson?
