Synopsis "The Laurel of Victory"

"From the dirt he shall rise, and the light of the stars shall be with him." The snows of winter have melted and the kingdom of Elnaria has erupted into a bloody civil war that threatens the king's reign. The king's mission to reclaim the chalice of knowledge has failed and his grip on power weakens as two rebel armies are raised against him. Stuck between the two armies, the king is forced to make an uneasy alliance with the new Lord of Heath Hollow as he needs to stop the two rebel forces from uniting against his inferior force. The temple at Lhanwick has ever been seen as the symbol of the king's divine right to rule. When it is attacked by the infamous Robert Hawkwood, the king is forced to march his army to reclaim it. In the hope of gaining a quick and easy victory, the king risks his alliance with the Lord of Heath Hollow that if discovered, could end his reign. With the pieces of war marching, Henri Richards once more finds himself being caught up in the events of the kingdom, and finds that the balance of power now rests upon his shoulders. Struggling with the hardships he has suffered, this unlikely hero must find a way to redeem himself in the eyes of the woman he loves, and the king. And it will all come to a head at the ancient temple of Lhanwick....
