Synopsis "The Lief-Loosearsesson Sagas: Episode 2 Vinnland"

In medieval Europe, Viking merchant and skipper Lief Loosearsesson embarks on a seemly improbable odyssey. As traditional hunting grounds become less easy to exploit for the Norsemen. Loosearsesson along with his haphazard less crew depart from Greenland with vague hopes of riches. Armed with only the drunken ramblings of a Celt fisherman at a seedy Scottish Inn to gamble with. Loosearsesson sets out on an expedition westward to a new as yet undiscovered continent. A skipper with seasickness and terrible incontinence when not on land, Loosearsesson endures a humiliatingly cringe worthy journey. Against all odds this motley crew of veteran seafarers manage to evoke, an equally lionized race of warriors into an alliance of mutual respect. The overly stereotypical caricatures, comically have to overcome, translation, cultural and ego related scenarios to mutually have common purpose. This is very much a tongue in cheek look at what might have happened when Vikings discovered North America. The story purposely evolves into a historical spin on many of our modern frailties and insecurities.Using puns, wordplay, satire and slap-stick scenarios to put a little self-depreciating prospective into place.
