Synopsis "The Life and Times of Edward Morgan"

Edward Morgan is a murderer. He has killed the first mate on the pirate ship Glory, led by the notoriously violent Captain Avery. Following the murder, Edward assumes Avery will kill him and throw chunks of his body into the ocean-a meal for ever-present sharks. Instead, Avery has a different idea. The Captain sees a lot of himself in Edward and decides to give him one last chance. He will leave Edward alive, on a small, legendary island known to pirates throughout the world as Dead Man's Isle. If Edward lives until the Glory returns, his punishment for the brutal murder will have been served. While Edward knows this won't be an easy task, he sees it as a reprieve and vows to survive until the Glory returns. But he doesn't know the secrets hidden on the Isle.
