Synopsis "The Matches: Two Short Stories"

This volume contains two stories, one a novella the other a short story. In Elizabeth and Jane Meet Their Matches, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth meet and Mr. Darcy discovers Elizabeth has met his sister. This relationship grows form this point. However, Jane is not at all sure about Mr. Bingley, for he refuses to correct his sister Caroline. What does Jane do about this problem? How far along to Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy carry their relationship? In Some Strategic Courtships, Mr. Bennet is escorting Elizabeth home from London on a cold snowy day in December and his driver finds a wrecked carriage in a ditch at the junction of the Great North Road. Inside the carriage is an injured Mr. Darcy, and the Bennets take him to Longhorn to take care of his injuries. This causes certain blessings to affect the Bennets and even the Darcy relatives in some ways. What do the letters of Lady Anne Darcy reveal to everyone? In what ways was everyone blessed?
