Synopsis "The Moon Child"
Sheri Robertson's life seems idyllic. She lives on a tropical island in the Pacific Ocean and spends her days trying to be the best person she can be. Though the sun shines, Sheri knows she is missing an important element: her parents. Her grandmother once told her they were both dead and to never bring the matter up again. This only reinforced Sheri's desire to learn more and possibly, a truth she could never suspect. Everything Sheri thinks she knows about her life changes one radical night when she is told a secret by a wise and ancient tortoise claiming to be the guardian of the sea. He speaks of another world that, to her young mind, should not exist and offers to help her discover who she really is. Filled with doubt and determination, Sheri embarks upon a journey that will take her to the edges of imagination in the hopes of learning the truth of not only her parents, but of herself as well. Though many trials await, Sheri vows to push through them. At the end of the road is a half whispered name echoing in the corners of her mind: Moon Child.
