The first book in a series geared toward preteen/middle school-age girls, The Dawn of the Moonbeams focuses on the birth of a new club called The Moonbeams at a prestigious Florida middle school. While the girls are very diverse, they all have one thing in common -- to rise to the top of the social ladder, and do some good in the meantime, while some focus more on keeping up with the latest trends, or playing sports, or rebelling against the norm and traveling down solo paths. The Moonbeams will explore several different characters through its journey, and prove that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to the girls in the club. Join Brooke, Lindsey, and Ashley, as they handpick their favorites and form a club that will soon take on a life of its own -- as long as the leaders can remain in charge, that is!
