Synopsis "The Multitude"
When the misguided Angel Gabriella resolves to make the world a better place, she travels through time to eliminate the dawn of Christianity. Gabriella's terrible deed accidentally divides the universe like an amoeba, spawning a barbaric civilization, not a better one.Flash forward to our modern-day world. Brewster Delay, a recession-challenged businessman, and Carla Summers, a struggling shopkeeper, somehow exist in both dimensions. They dream about the one while living in the other. The angel sees God's hand in this anomaly. Clearly, Carla's duplicate, Maynya, must be a messiah for the morally bankrupt people in the land of Virtus, and Brewster's double, the soldier Quintus, can protect her.
