Synopsis "The Mystery of Glass Island"

Rick and Bob Brown are young brothers with an insatiable appetite for mystery, adventure, and exploration. So needless to say, they are thrilled when their father announces that the family will be spending the summer on Glass Island, miles from their sleepy little Canadian town of New River. Ever since the island was seen emitting a mysterious light, even though there's no lighthouse or buildings of any kind on it, the people of New River have avoided it like the plague, convinced that it may be cursed. But the fish are running low off the waters of New River, so Jim Brown makes a decision as head of his family to move to Glass Island where the fish are plentiful. The family builds a cabin there, and shortly after their arrival, their Uncle Frank, shows up with a dog, Rascal, and asks the boys to look after him for the summer. He is their constant companion as they begin their exploration and research of Glass Island. They're determined to solve the mystery of the unknown light source but will soon find themselves in over their heads and facing real danger. Dive into this exciting story to find out what they'll do to get themselves out of it!
