Synopsis "The Mystery of the Missing Russian Rug"
The Solomon family lives on the Lower East Side of New York City. Mama and Papa have six young daughters, and they strive to teach them morality and Jewish tradition. Mrs. Solomon's prized possession is her lovely gold rug with a border of red roses, brought with them from Russia. One day Mrs. Solomon takes her rug up to the roof to give it a good airing, but when she returns the rug is missing! What happens next teaches children how to deal with the moral issue of right and wrong using humor, poetry and an unexpected twist.
