A man named, Galloway, returns home following an unknown journey. After reentering the vacant cottage of his youth nestled in the midst of a great valley, he sits down to tell the story of his time as only he can: meditating on transformation, loss, the nature of the divine, light and dark, and a soul's refusal to surrender; he transports us back to the days of his youth, telling of what caused him to flee the lands of his home, and what journey and lessons ultimately brought him back.
