Synopsis "The Platinum Briefcase"
Detroit, 1976. Eighteen-year-old Victor Carez used to life the high life with his father's multi-million dollar company. After its collapse, Victor and his parents move to Detroit. Victor has no friends, and the collapse of his father's company has sent his father into a tail-spin of alcohol and abuse while his mother retreats to an alcoholic depression. Victor meets with the Chief of Police every Wednesday night to get the one nourishing meal he deserves. Their friendship is shattered when Victor meets a young man named Danny Ponchello. Danny's father is rumored to have organized crime connections. And when Danny saves Victor from bullying and offers his friendship Victor falls head first into the criminal underworld. Victor will experience a myriad of struggles to extricate himself from the dark and disturbing world of crime, hate and rage he has fallen in to.
