Synopsis "The Promoter: A Jamaican Novel"

In Jamaica the entertainment capital of the Caribbean, Troy (The Promoter) Elliot; the number three promoter on the island plans to promote the greatest one night Reggae/Pop show on earth. After his original show promoting financial partner is gunned down in an apparent gun battle, Troy meets Indigo, his now deceased partner's daughter. Indigo is visiting Jamaica from Haiti to bury her father. Indigo and Troy soon become lovers. In an act of desperation, Troy makes a deal with the criminal underworld to finance the show and this turns out to be one risk too many. As the criminals set out to kill him Troy has to flee and is assisted by Anne, a witch, who saves his life but sends him on a different journey through the world of human trafficking and New World mysticism in Haiti and Paris embedding Indigo and Troy in the ultimate fight for Troy's life.
