It began with a personal epiphany that occurred in a most unlikely circumstance. That epiphany sent me on a personal journey that changed the way I live my life. If you follow me on this excursion through time and mental space, you will be exposed to discussions of DNA and a few billion years of evolution, the minds of crows, a Viennese school of psychotherapy, orgasms, chocolate cake, heroin, money, politics, and religion. You will find out what certain Hollywood movies, the evil gods of golf, some of our sports heroes, a very old episode of Star Trek, and "Kondo-ing" can teach us about achieving happiness in our lives. Along the way, you may realize, as I did, that too much of your life is spent living through moments of your very precious allotted time on earth that leave you feeling emotionally and spiritually empty.
