Humanity is blessed in having a very special quality called existential intelligence, an ability to use collective values and intuition to understand others and the true reality that is now hidden to our Newtonian world. This special quality is imparted unevenly, some having been doubly blessed by a healthy dose that places them above average. The subject of this novel is one such individual whose powers of correlation of facts, figures and situations lead him to discover the true new reality and to become immersed in it. His name is Adam Ruckenstock. In the first volume of this series, The Quantum Tinkerer, Adam discovers the means of opening the portal to the Quantum level and is the first human to explore its exotic dimensions. As it often happens in real life, he is being haunted by one of the richest people, Augustus Von Zell, an unscrupulous soldier of fortune who aims to take over Adam's success. In the second volume, The Multiplet Game, we recall the main protagonists, Adam and "Auggi" von Zell by way of selections from the Tinkerer that reacquaint us with their mortal struggle and provide needed continuity to their adventures. A key figure from the Quantum domain named YHT continues his role as a key ally of Adam and his wife Laura. Whereas the first volume is mainly directed at exploring the Quantum level and the second volume has as its locale our classical Newtonian world in which the struggle continues, this third volume in the series combines action by Adam and his Chinese partner, Xi'an Benyuan with help by YHT in both locales in order to solve the mystery of the missing islands in the South Pacific and to avoid a world conflagration. In the present volume, we recall the main protagonists, Adam and "Auggi" von Zell by way of selections from the earlier volumes that reacquaint us with their mortal struggle and provide needed continuity to their present adventures.
