Medical liability is a hot topic. Since 1990, there has been an increase in the direct or indirect liability of doctors in sports accidents. There has been an increase in civil and criminal convictions of 15% per year. In our work, we will deal with the medical responsibility of the sports doctor and of the doctor who issues certificates of physical fitness for the practice of amateur sport or for obtaining a sports licence for professional sportsmen.
