Synopsis "The Riddle of Monarch Pass"
While searching for an elusive cannon that John Charles Fremont - the famed gold rush explorer supposedly buried in California - four army officers experienced what can only be described as a horrific, unearthly storm during their first night camping in Monarch Pass. Their tent being the only thing between them and the elements and too scared to sleep, the men stayed awake all night long, listening like captives in a prison as lightning struck tree after tree and thunder so loud it could wake the dead. Once daybreak finally came, the storm relented and the men rushed outside and immediately stopped dead in their tracks...Something was not right, the terrain, their environment, nothing was the same as the day before. Being the well-trained military men that they were, they dutifully got busy gathering wood and filtering water when one of the soldiers heard gun shots along with yelling and screaming. They were under attack! Confused and dazed, the soldier sees men dressed in Native American costumes riding on horses shooting at them - He quickly gathers his wits and calls for his men. What transpires after this unparalleled event is where Twilight Zone meets the Wild Wild West in this exciting time-traveling story filled with adventure, romance, twists and turns.
