This destructive device is not a new spirit, but dates back to the beginning of time when Cain, who was of that wicked one (I John 3:12), slew his brother Abel. All through the Bible we find lives destroyed, relationships divided, and families broken up as a result of this cunning trap of the enemy.Chances are, even now, you or someone very close to you may be dealing with deep-rooted feelings of bitterness towards someone, some group, some church, or even a close family member. This poison acid of malice, jealousy, and hatred will erode the Spirit of Christ out of our lives unless it is dealt with properly.
