This is the autobiography of Lt/Col James B. Story, USAF. Jim was born in Winfield, KS, and grew up during the depression years. He acquired a love of flying and so enlisted in the Army Air Corps after two years of college at Southwestern College in Winfield. He flew the B-26 and B-25 out of Guadalcanal in the Pacific theater of war during WWII. He is a 'Cold Warrior' and a veteran of the Vietnam war. This is also the story of a typical military family as they pull up stakes and move every three years, traveling between the U.S. and Europe.
