What do a Woodstock hippie, a suburban American family, a time-traveling Buddhist, and the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security have in common? Nothing. That is, until a quantum disaccordian resonance bubble pops, depositing hippie Manfred Redford-along with triverticular particles-into the George Douglas home in the middle of the night. Manfred and Douglas are shocked by the turn of events. But not as shocked as Preston Ogilvie, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, who mistakes the triverticular particles for the launch of a new space tunnel weapon against America by North Korea or Iran-assisted by George Douglas and others.A zany chase ensues as Homeland races to capture the Douglas "terrorists" and Manfred before they bring the fearsome "weapon" to bear. But once the Department realizes its mistake, a dark faction within plots to avoid embarrassment by "eliminating" the Douglases.
