Synopsis "The Tontine"

This work is a contribution to the popularization, knowledge, practice, integration and institutionalization of Tontines in Cameroon. The author has observed, practiced and described the functioning and mutations in Tontines, which use the techniques and instruments of money markets and function as such. With the aim of achieving the conventional or unconventional formalization of Tontines, the author launches the creation of an ethical mutual fund (FCPE) and calls on research or investment funds to take part. By demonstrating the immediate profitability of the capital invested, the other short-term objective of the fund is to support the costs of deepening observations on the practice and trends of tontines from the inside, in order to better integrate them "in fine", into a central body that he calls "The National Mutual Bank of Tontines". This book is intended for all audiences sensitive to development issues, more specifically for leaders in developing countries, entrepreneurs, teachers and students.
