Synopsis "The Unlikely Messenger"
Ralph Cape is in San Juan on business when he runs into former student, Pete Rodriguez, now grown and with a family of his own. Ralph is warmly embraced by Pete and quickly bonds with his teenage son, Jerry, who owns an Arabian gelding named Coral Sea. The happy reunion is cut short when Pete's position with the government requires him to investigate unusual activity off the coast. Strange weather phenomena, lost boats and malfunctioning compasses are the only clues, though Pete believes it points to a much deeper conspiracy. When Jerry steps forward with disturbing information he received from a surprising source, it proves to be credible and confirms his father's suspicions. Now Ralph, Pete, and Jerry find themselves embroiled in an international scheme where a ruthless syndicate is plotting world domination. After their source is compromised, they are left to decipher the signs Jerry receives with little else to go on. As they race to stop a catastrophe, they find that not only are the lives of those closest to them in the crosshairs, but millions of innocent civilians as well.
