Synopsis "The Village Kids: Just Steer And Ride"

For Tre's 5th birthday, he received an Accelerator Man "Big Kid" bike. It was his best present of all! He even offered his foster brother Kenney his old Thunder Bouncer bike with the training wheels, but soon Tre's high was deflated. He realized he had NEVER ridden a bike without training wheels and was afraid. Now he wants his Thunder Bouncer bike back. But he can't go back on his promise to Kenney. Especially when Kenney's older sister LeShae thinks that nothing good ever happens for foster kids like them. Trying to make this important decision, Tre turns to his bible schoolteacher, Ms. Lucile. She simply reminds him to "Fear Not......" Ms. Lucile suggests he let the fear go, and listen to his mother who advises him to "Just Steer and Ride." Will Tre keep his word to Kenney, and show LeShae that great things can happen for kids like them too? Find out when you read The Village Kids: Just Steer and Ride.
