Synopsis "Thoughts Out of Season: Volume II"

Volume II of the Thoughts Out of Season series is a thought diary covering the second half of February, 2017. Like the first volume, the topics are dominated by politics and current events, especially Donald Trump and his administration. Fortunately, politics do not completely dominate my thinking. I also explore historical issues such as the Defenestration of Prague and government reactions to attacks on American naval vessels. I give an outline of American presidential elections going all the way back to the first presidential election in 1789. I explain the Law of Supply and Demand and I explore the meaning of the Second Amendment. I give historical background to some current events. I give a brief outline of the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Some of the topics reflect more mundane issues such as registering my car and my experiences while driving. I also detail some of my experiences as a self-published author.
