Synopsis "Through The Eyes of a Teen: Nontraditional Photos of California Landmarks"
Through the Eyes of A Teen: Nontraditional Photos of California Landmarks is a photo essay of two well known California landmarks, Joshua Tree National Park and Salton Sea, and two landmarks that are not well known, Salvation Mountain and Slab City. All of the photographs were taken by a teenager, based on his view of the world. Most of the photos were taken using a digital SLR camera, which made it easier to show what he actually saw, the way he envisioned it. The other photos were taken using a smart phone camera, which gave him a chance to take very quick shots when he did not want to pull out his other camera. The book also includes his observations and comments, and some information about each place visited.
