This book aims to contribute to the socialisation of relevant knowledge in the field of Brazilian educational management, especially school management in Amazonas. The discussions and reflections presented here by the author on Total Quality Management in a Public School: Points and Counterpoints, stem from the importance of public school management as an instrument of mediation in the teaching and learning processes, as well as involving social, political and cultural elements, materialised in the reality of the school that influence and contribute to the way it is organised.
