Synopsis "Trump's Autistic Locker Room"

Now that Donald Trump is president we must address the issue of locker room talk across the entire autism spectrum. Locker room talk is not appropriate conversation for teenagers or young adults to be having and people with autism might be confused now that Mr. Trump is president and approves of such talk. Now, the autism community must work harder than ever in trying to stop locker room talk. T.B talks about how to intervene early. We want to make sure that everyone understands what locker room talk is because they are going to be exposed to it. We just have to be sure that kids on the spectrum know that it is not socially appropriate for them to be engaging in locker room talk as Mr. Trump sees it. T.B. has been in several locker rooms throughout his life and has never witnessed the type of locker room talk that President Elect Trump speaks. T.B says that we should hold our president accountable as being a role model for younger children and even those with disabilities. Instead of mocking people that are different than Mr. Trump, T.B. thinks that he should address the nation and bring us all together again. Mr. Trump has the power to do a lot of good while in office because he controls all three branches of government for two years. T.B. shares stories of how he was victimized and bullied by other high school students for not participating in locker room talk at school. T.B. does not want to see anyone get bullied especially those kids with autism who like him were just socially naive and could not defend themselves. T.B. tells all in this awesome book about how he grew up and learned to fit in without having locker room conversations.
