Synopsis "Tuleyome's Wild Nature Book!"
This book is based on Tuleyome's popular "Tuleyome Tales" series of feature articles written mostly by our staff members and distributed to the local media. Our articles have been published in the Daily Democrat, Davis Enterprise, Lake County News, Lake County Record Bee, West Sacramento News Ledger, and the Winters Express among others; and they feature places, animals, insects, plants and landscapes in and around Yolo County, Lake County, Solano County, Mendocino County, Napa County and Sacramento County in the central valley region of northern California. You can see mnay of the complete articles at our website: www.tuleyome.org. The book is geared toward young readers ages 6 and up. Each page shows the reader a plant, animal or location within the local region, provides them with a little background information, and then poses a question which encourages young readers to do some research on their own.
