Poor Turtle Tom! He had just been reunited with his friend; yet again, he was being taken away. Tom was placed in a glass bowl and put in the back of a truck. The other creatures in the truck were not happy to see a turtle in a bowl. Through the darkness, Turtle Tom could see thick claws and big jaws. Tom was headed to a strange and unusual place. He was alone and he was scared. Turtle Tom wondered where he would end up next. Turtle Tom arrives at the zoo. Does a turtle belong at the zoo? Tom sees a large door with the words ZOO on it. Turtle Tom wonders what is behind that door. Perhaps his family is back there. A kind woman opens the door and Turtle Tom is about to discover something new. What discovery will Turtle Tom make on this adventure? The Turtle Tom Book Series is a wonderful story of a young turtle who strives to find the family he never knew. It is a story of challenges, fun, setbacks and excitement; but most importantly, of hope. His strength and determination proves to be a wonderful lesson for young and old alike. Throughout the book series, Turtle Tom journeys to and from some unknown origins for a little turtle. Along the way, he meets many friends and foes while getting himself into some unpredictable situations. Each story is uniquely written to flow from one book to another; yet, can also be read at any juncture in the series given the flashback intro which is provided at the beginning of each new adventure.
