Synopsis "Twilight Garden"
"Twilight Garden" is about a man who learns to value life as he falls in love with a dying woman. Johnny Smith is in danger of spending up to five years in jail after getting himself involved, again, in a bar brawl. As a repeat offender, Johnny knows that the judge will more than likely sentence him to serve the full term. The judge, however, has another way of making him learn his lesson this time; little does Johnny know how this will change his life in more ways than one. Instead of sending Johnny straight to prison, the judge gives Johnny a chance to change his ways and learn the value of life by taking care of a stricken women with a grave illness. Mary Taylor has been diagnosed with cancer and has found out that she will not live much longer. With no family or friends to help take care of her, it is now Johnny's mission to take care of Mary until the day she dies. For the first time in his life, Johnny sees the true beauty and worth of being alive through Mary's eyes. He knows he has fallen in love with the woman who has little time left to live; he knows that heartbreak and grief are just waiting around the corner; but despite the pain that will soon strike and tear him apart, Johnny is determined to make Mary happy by making her feel treasured and loved.
