Thinking must replace reacting; honest words must be found, hard questions asked, & stories must be correlated with reality. This book is not a call to arms -- that has been thoroughly done by others. Nor is it a tidy set of solutions -- the situation is too far gone for that. This brief work is an exercise in correcting our mental models, & aligning our communication with those models, so that we can together restore the vital structures & give our children a future of possibilities instead of a legacy of regrets.
