Synopsis "Utilization of instructional materials by history teachers in Sironko"
The study investigate the utilization of instructional materials by History teachers in Sironko District secondary schools. Specifically the study sought to examine the extent to which history teachers in sironko secondary schools use Visual aids, to examine the extent to which history teachers use audio-visual aids in Sironko secondary schools, to examine the extent to which history teachers use realia in Sironko secondary schools. The study covered 10 government secondary schools in Sironko District. A cross sectional survey method was used in order to gather data from various respondents from the ten government secondary schools in Sironko district, Uganda. The population of study comprised of the HOD History, History Teachers, and Student. The study was conducted using a Cross Sectional Survey because the researcher wanted to collect data from various persons in 10 government secondary schools in Sironko district. A sample size of 250 was used in the study .They comprised of 3 HODs, 15 History teachers, and 232 students from the selected government secondary schools in Sironko district.
