The high altitude regimen at Hale is brutal and Holt struggles daily to hide his infirmity, and pushes himself without mercy in spite of his pain. When the chance to join the Office of Security Services is presented, Holt applies to become an OSS spy and improve his odds for actually deploying into Norway.
