Synopsis "Well performance and optimization using artificial lift system"
Amani #2 well is located in Anaguid-East concession at southern Tunisia. The main objective of this work is to study the well performance based on nodal analysis approach and optimize its production using the appropriate artificial lift method.Using PROSPER software, a well model was established to reproduce the well current performance. It was deduced that the well necessitates an artificial lift system to cope with well problems and optimize oil production.Based on comparative study, we have decided to perform the simulation on ESP pump and Jet pump systems. An economic study was performed in order to ensure the profitability of each technique (ESP or Jet pump). It was revealed that the Jet pump is the most suitable system to be installed on Amani #2 well.
