Synopsis "Why Me?"

I'm the second oldest of seven siblings. I've always been a small individual, yet I've always wanted to do big things. It's always been my desire in life to satisfy a need and urge for significance. To me significance was more than just about being famous or a celebrity. It meant living a fulfilling life that wasn't hampered by restrictions and limitations. I grew up in a very strict Pentecostal household. In fact, it was so strict that we didn't call it Pentecostal we just indicated that we were "non-denominational". Add to that the fact that we worshiped on Saturday, and most people thought we were Seventh- day Advent I was born in Dallas Texas and lived there until I was six years old. At that time, my parents decided to move us to Hope, Arkansas. Other than the fact that Bill Clinton (42nd president) was born and raised, there is nothing big or hopeful to say about that small-town. In that we were a strict religious family we pretty much stayed away from the average doings about town. We moved from Dallas with a group of other people that my parents grew up with. As young adults, my parents and their friends were invited to attend a church service with plans to leave that service to attend a party. The message from the minister was so powerful that they all gave their life to Christ at some time they all gravitated to Hope, Arkansas. They started a church and begin building on the outskirts of Hope. That may be where I began to lose hope as my life from that point forward became structured and strict. I love my parents and I was the second oldest of seven siblings. As a child, all I knew was what they shared with me. On the road to satisfaction, there was a road map that I needed. And I hated that map as I began to find out what would satisfy me in life.
