Synopsis "Why We Get Mental Disorders?: What Pharmaceuticals and Psychiatry Will Never Tell You!"
Within the last few decades, the number of mental disorders has tripled to around 400. As per the latest DSM (psychiatry's bible), we have covered almost every possible human behavior. Millions and millions have been diagnosed with one or the other form of mental disorders. These numbers are expected to rise at an alarming rate in near future. While psychiatry and pharma is trying to their best to find a treatment, there is often a conflict of interest. Sadly psychiatry has no answers to any of the mental disorders in their book. They are not concerned about the 'WHY'. In fact, the head of the DSM committee has admitted that they cannot define what is mental disorder! The deal is now only to play around with your symptoms. If you have ups and down, you have bipolar. If you are hyperactive, you have ADHD. If you experience certain symptoms of depression, you have clinical depression. That is not helping people. Being on chemicals for the rest of the lives is not a solution. Through this book, I am sincerely looking to find a solution for people who are facing mental issues - without drugs. By the way, we already know how dangerous those psychotropic drugs are. This book is an attempt to expose the nexus of psychiatry and pharmaceuticals. Not only that, this book is designed to help you get out of this mental rot. This book is designed to explain how your mind works. Once you understand your mind, there is a good chance you can overcome it. Mental health is our responsibility. Long have we shunned this responsibility. There is hope for all of us. I wish this book reaches to all the people who need it.
