In the third installment of the Food Chain Chronicles, the perspective shifts from the conquests of J'Ivy and his allies to the subtler world of Adam's Four. This is the realm that the prosperous Ivy's Realm leaves behind. But it's not all chaos and despair for the people who call Adam's Four home. No, not even close. A collection of people have risen up out of the desolation to take a chance at organizing the citizens and turning the realm into a land not defined by what it lacks, but by what it could be. This group of people are called the Four's Collective. After growing tired of the constant struggle to survive, two sisters stood up and rallied the people to action, and did everything in their power to bring them together and save the realm from self-destruction. Kimura and Ormika Crow, twin sisters who watched their home fall into ruin after it was split by J'Ivy's conquest, refused to sit back and allow everything they held dear crumble into nothing. Years of witnessing their community sink further and further into degradation have worn down the sisters and forced them to act. We pick up on the Crow twins' daily routine; cleaning up the streets from scum who wish to see it forever dilapidated. Everything was going according to plan. The sect of Adam's Four they protect, their home, is thriving thanks to their efforts. But things would change for them when a stranger wanders into their city. An innocent, everyday situation quickly turns into a nightmare when the stranger shows that he has no care to make friends or aid in their vision to make the realm just as prosperous as Ivy's Realm. This man is controlling a power none of them have ever encountered, and he wants to use it to undo everything they have worked so hard to build. But there is more to this man than meets the eye.
