Synopsis "Wronged!"
He called himself Bickerman, a psychotic serial killer that was roaming the streets of Tulsa. His victims: People, who in his way of thinking, have wronged society, and now feel it's his duty to administer his personal brand of justice; namely, by severing the offensive body part of the offender. Homicide detective Carson Holloway has been assigned to his most baffling murder case yet: Discover who is randomly murdering people for wrongful acts committed on the innocent. His only clue: the word Wronged left at the crime scene, written in the victim's own blood. What did that word symbolize and how many more murders will be committed by the killer before Carson can put the clues together and bring Bickerman to justice. After an altercation at a gas pump with an irate trucker, Sociology professor, Elizabeth Stone becomes the target of Bickerman, beginning with a late night phone call, bragging that he righted the wrong inflicted on her by killing the trucker. Unnerved by the call, Elizabeth solicits the help of Det. Carson Holloway and together they try to piece together the connection of the phone calls and the horrendous murders before Bickerman subjects his brand of justice on the beautiful professor. The minute Carson set eyes on Elizabeth Stone, he felt an undeniable chemistry toward her, something his obsessive female partner couldn't help but notice. And as he try to unravel the mystery of the Wronged murders, he also has to deal with his unpredictable partner, who seem to slowly reveal a dark side to her personality he never knew she had, which he feels could threaten the integrity of the investigation, but also make him wonder is Bickerman the only threat to Elizabeth. Wronged! is a romantic thriller that offers erotic love and obsession, betrayal, and gradually unearths dark secrets that should have remained buried. It all weaves together a plot with an "OMG!" and "I didn't see that one coming" combination that hopefully will keep the reader guessing all the way to the last chapter.
