All he wants to do is to draw cartoons and lie around in his studio flat, painting obscure scenes and staring out the window at the vast expanse of nothingness in El Paso, Texas. But on a drab and ordinary Monday, Mark is struck by something other than the usual emotional void: Tristan. Mark is slammed by passionate curiosity. Who is this beautiful creature with a film camera, when the digital age is upon them? How did he get here? Why is his skin so smooth and moisturized in such a dry heat? Who is this guy?While Mark is distracted from his drawing, Tristan notices him. Tristan notices him. He didn't know what to do, or how to act, or how to even smile.
