Synopsis "Bondage or Death: In the Eye of Madness"
Bondage or Death In the Eye of Madness It is the late 1930's in the city of Vienna, Austria during the Nazi occupation. It was a night of celebration...the beginning of winter class break. Young university student, Erich von Stolzenburg, attracts the attention of sadistic SS officer, Bucher, when he is partying with friends. The officer and his SS colleague force Erich, into an alley and humiliate him before letting him go. The next day Officer Bucher and five members of his squad invade Stefan's apartment and hold him and his straight roommate, Stefan (with whom Erich is secretly in love), captive for some rough play. Bucher plans to relocate Erich to a work camp as well as destroy Stefan's prominent family. As the evening progresses, Bucher has a change of plan and offers Erich an option to avoid work-camp and Stefan a way to save his family. It's a hard choice and either decision may be the wrong one. However, one of the young SS men under Bucher is outraged with what Bucher and his men are forcing on the two students and offers the young men yet another option. This story is told by Erich, who describes in detail the thirty-six hours that defined his and Stefan's life.
