The author will also talk about how to prepare for a marathon, as well as take you through the race course, mile by mile, and point out the many interesting things and nuances regarding the course. In addition, the author will talk about the spectators, interesting people he has met on the race course throughout the years, as well as provide numerous insightful tips regarding marathon training and how to avoid and nurture common running injuries. Guy Carafone is a lifetime runner who has run over 70,000 miles life to date, as well as completed 12 Boston Marathons, one as a registered runner and the other 11 as a bandit.
