Luke really wanted to know what was concealed behind the heavy metal doors but Sam was sure it would be a waste of time and no hidden treasure would be found... The boys were more cautious as they walked out of the tunnel into the sunlight. Does danger lay ahead or will there be adventures? Luke and Sam were able to defuse situations at home with bullies but these were real criminals. The fire was getting closer and Sam was terrified that he would be unable to untie the ropes that held them. How can he save Nellie from her captors as well as himself, or will they all perish in the fire? Can they outsmart these sleazy men from the old west? The boys were terrified that they may never see home again. The exit that would have taken them home was now sealed with an iron gate. Now they were trapped...
