Featuring 25 original, hand painted, grayscale portraits of my rescue and foster kitties.Plus an additional bonus holiday themed grayscale portrait.All images are printed on one side with a blank backside.I begin with an actual photograph from my vast personal collection and then digitally paint over it. I highlight or alter the cat's unique features and markings. I also enhance the backgrounds, with hand drawn patterns, fabrics, accessories and textures.The primary stars of this book are our two rescue kitties...Kimba Mittens and Meyer Bannon. I am lucky enough to share my studio with these two on a daily basis.Throughout my life the amount of joy, laughter and love I have received from cats cannot be measured.Independent, aloof, loving, silly, mischievous, daring, sweet, crafty...you could pretty much use any adjective to describe cats.Over the years, we have had many rescue cats and have fostered too many kittens to count. I hope you enjoy coloring these portraits that I painted, inspired by my personal collection of photographs.Each one is a real cat or kitten that we have had the pleasure of knowing.
