Synopsis "Deliver Us from Evil"
The room is dark. Kevin is drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. Sitting up he shakes his head to clear his mind. He goes into the bathroom to get a drink of water. There is a sharp pain in the back of his neck. Placing his hand on the back of his neck he rubs the spot that is hurting. His fingers sense wetness and he assumes his neck is still damp from the night sweat. When he withdraws his hand he casually looks at his fingers to see if it is sweat or blood. Wet fingers calm his anxiety. He picks up a hand mirror, and positions it so that he can view the back of his head and neck. There are bite marks on his neck. Jerry Carter is a second generation sexual predator. His father convinced him that he was a direct descendant of Cain, and that he would not be judged for his sins. Jerry twists the Gospel for his own purposes. He conceals his true nature behind the guise of being a spiritual mentor. Pastor Bill Cosper is concerned when Jerry brings two young women to the church.
