Synopsis "Desolation"

In the late 1800s, Buck Kinkaid and his brothers live in the dying desert town of Desolation, California. With a mix of European vampire and American shape-shifter blood, the brothers have found the isolated town to be a haven from full-blooded vampires, who consider them enemies. Aligned with the nearby Ortiz Pack of shape-shifters, The Kinkaids and their friend Ben Natty enjoy a peaceful life for years. However, that peace is shattered when a treaty between the new world shape-shifters and old world vampires results in an arranged marriage between a Kinkaid and a vampire. While the family struggles to accept the arrangement, Buck must also deal with his strong feelings for Annie, a distant and introverted drifter who has lost her own family and now lives with the brothers, unaware of their secret. When a double-cross reveals a treacherous plot by one of Buck's oldest enemies, The Kinkaids must abandon their home to seek answers and plan their revenge.
