Así, la excelencia académica debe ir de la mano de la excelencia humana (CPAL, 2019). Si esta excelencia humana y académica no es accesible a todos y, por el contrario, es excluyente para los más desfavorecidos, entonces la calidad no es posible porque se sustenta en la injusticia social y promueve las pobrezas históricas. Entonces, habrá calidad de formación en espacios exclusivos de la educación, pero su carácter universal y su calidad tendrán los límites que imponen el mercado, los privilegios y las exclusiones sociales.
