Valentin Dolfi, who is described by Ioan Es. Pop as a poet forgotten among the hermitic solitude of a Romanian mountain village, did me the honour of accepting that I should translate an anthology of his poems. So this volume of "Family Snapshots" was born, an album about the simplicity of daily life, which is not that ordinary after all. It contains verse that belong to three previously published volumes, but also a new cycle dedicated to Baile Govora, where he invites you to take your next trip. Valentin Dolfi, poète oublié dans la solitude d'ermite d'une petite ville des montagnes roumaines, comme le décrit Ioan Es. Pop, m'a fait l'honneur d'accepter que je traduise en français une anthologie de ses poèmes. C'est ainsi qu'est né ce volume de photos de famille, album de la simplicité d'un quotidien pas si ordinaire que cela. Il regroupe des vers appartenant à trois volumes déjà publiés mais aussi un cycle inédit dédié à la ville de Baile Govora où il vous convie à passer vos prochaines vacances.
