Synopsis "hammer of the gods: apocalyptic texts for the criminally insane"

ECSTASY - WAR - DEICIDE NIHILISM - CHANCE - REVENGE ANTI-CHRIST -ÀoeBERMENSCH AMNESIA - CHAOS - MASKS SICKNESS - PAIN - SUICIDE - SOCIOPATHY - WILL TO POWER - ETERNAL RETURN - NEGATION HAMMER OF THE GODS presents Friedrich Nietzsche's most prophetic, futuristic and apocalyptic philosophies and traces them against the upheavals of the last century and the current post-millennial panic. This radical re-interpretation reveals Nietzsche as the only guide to the madness in our society which he himself prophesied over a century ago; Nietzsche as a philosopher against society, against both the state and the herd; Nietzsche as philosopher with a hammer. Compiled, translated and edited by Stephen Metcalf. New edition of the classic Nietzsche reader which has sold steadily since its original publication in 1995. Expanded with an additional appendix, and featuring new cover art.
