There are 3 main types of diabetes: Type I, Type II, and Gestational diabetes mellitus. Type II is the most common form of diabetes and accounts for 90 to 95% of Diabetes cases. Chronic hyperglycemia without proper management can also lead to various short term and long term secondary complications, both of small and big, vascular nature which may be determined as the main cause of mortality and morbidity in type 2 diabetic patients all over the world. The study conducted strictly observed the diabetes affected people in a particular area and the co-morbidities were studied in a very detailed and elaborate manner and a pharmacist counseling and education program was conducted for the patients the statistical reports about studies clearly says that the program and studies had a positive effect on the co-morbidities
