La Bella Durmiente es la historia de una joven niña que se llama Aurora, al nacer para celebrar tan maravilloso acontecimiento se da una fiesta, a la que acude mucha gente. Entre ellos el Rey Humberto y su hijo Felipe, y las hadas Fauna, Flora y Primavera que cuando la están concediendo unos dones, aparece el hada maléfica que enfadada por no ser invitada a la fiesta la echa un maleficio de que a los 16 años se picará y morirá. Pero como falta un hada por concederla un don, la dice que no morirá pero si quedará dormida profundamente hasta ser despertada por un beso de amor. El Príncipe Felipe, enamorado de ella será quien la despierte con un beso.
